Account & Data Deletion Policy

MohaliInvest.com (“MohaliInvest,” “we,” “us”) allows Buyers, Sellers, and Partners (builders/brokers) to register an account to submit property listings, submit buyer requirements, and use our negotiation and matching services. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it.

Who this applies to

Any registered Buyer, Seller, or Partner account on MohaliInvest.com or the MohaliInvest app.

What gets deleted

When you submit a verified deletion request, we permanently remove:

• Your profile details (name, phone number, email address, login credentials)
• Property listings and buyer requirements you submitted
• Uploaded photos, floor plans, and master plan documents linked to your account
• Your enquiry and message history with other users
• Saved/wishlisted properties

What we may retain, and why

We may retain limited data for a defined period even after deletion, strictly where required to:

• Resolve an active or pending negotiation/enquiry you were part of, until it is closed
• Comply with tax, accounting, or legal record-keeping obligations under Indian law
• Investigate fraud, abuse, or a violation of our Listing & Content Guidelines already under review

Any data retained for these reasons is kept only as long as legally necessary and is not used for any other purpose. Aggregated, anonymised data (which no longer identifies you) may be retained for analytics.

How to request deletion

Send a deletion request using either method below, from the email address or phone number registered on your account, so we can verify it’s really you:

1. Email: [your support email — contact@mohaliinvest.com] with the subject line “Account Deletion Request,” including your registered phone number.
2. WhatsApp/Call: Message or call us at 9320200004 with your registered phone number and a request to delete your account.

You may also request deletion of specific data (for example, just your uploaded documents, or just a single listing) instead of your full account — mention this clearly in your request.

Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 7–30 days, except for any data we are permitted to retain as described above. You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
